Adults should get between seven and eight hours per night of uninterrupted sleep to feel refreshed and maintain a healthy weight. Studies show that watching TV or reading on a digital device can throw your circadian rhythms out of whack. Try to limit screen time in the final hours before bed so you can fall asleep quicker, and limit any caffeine at least six hours before bedtime.
